I have an ORIGINAL Avanti Astrobeam from the 1970s! I have had this antenna up for 3 months, and I took it down and put up a Moonraker 4. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with the Astrobeam at all. I just wanted a beam with dual polarities. It comes with a copy of the owners manual, all parts, and even the RG 83 matching coax, which is hard to find as it is! The plastic hubs and the plastic boom insulators are perfect with no cracks or splits. The elements are straight and good. The hoop sections are good as well. The center fiberglass spreader arm is good as well as the stainless clamps. The bidder will be very happy getting this classic beam antenna! with all electronics im selling this as is no returns. I will ONLY sell to someone inside the lower 48 USA ONLY!!! NO OVERSEAS BIDDERS! Shipping is a flat rate to anywere in the lower 48. This is a long box. Pics show antenna partially assembled to show that it is altogether. Hi there I have a avanti moonracker 4 beam and im trying to buy some hardwere from who ever has parts . you can call me on my cell phone at (323)6910459 im in los angeles ca im looking for the gamma fasteners and gamma sleeves and gamma studs for both sides of the avanti moonracker 4 antenna and i know more friends that need parts and some cb radio stores out hear in los angeles would like to find out who has these antennas so please call me any time. i Would like to hear from you also i have been looking all over for something like this site thank you from Darron Perkins. ps i like to say that i had a avanti Pdl 2 Antenna beam and i love it to and that these where the best antennas ever built and that hope thay would come back someday and that no one has nothing like it.
