Uniden (President) Zachary T 40-Channel CB Base Radio Picture and Description:
Uniden (President) Zachary T CB Base Station Up for Auction... This item is a Uniden (President) Zachary T 40-channel CB base station. It is in excellent condition operationally, and in good condition physically. There are no dings or dents in the metal case, and no chips or chunks missing from the plastic face. There are normal signs of use, such as minor scratches here and there, minor discoloration of the black finish in a couple small areas, etc. The only major cosmetic flaw is a missing button cover on the ANL switch. All features are tested and working properly. The unit has been peaked and tune using lab-grade equipment (Tektronics o-scope, BIRD and computer-based Wavenode power meters, Fluke signal generator, etc). The AMC circuit is intact and properly adjusted, no clip-and-hack tuning here! A MOSFET final upgrade has been done, and the transmit performance is nothing short of spectacular. LOUD and crystal clear audio, with well over 40 watts PEP on max output peaks registered on our Wavenode peak-reading software. If the bid reaches $100 or more, I will warranty the radio for 90 days, not including the channel display or any damage caused by a faulty antenna system or mismatched amp input (final driver, audio transformer, audio chip), or in the case of mobile use, any damage caused by reverse DC connections (burnt circuit board traces, blown diodes, RF chokes on the power socket input, etc). If warranty service is needed, all shipping is the responsibility of the bidder. Check our feedback and bid with confidence! Notice on bid cancelations: Due to recent problems with bidders running prices way up (which scares off other buyers and often causes them to remove the item from their watch list), then canceling their bids, all bidders who cancel their bids will be placed on our blocked bidders list. All such bidders will also be reported to www.bidcancellers.info. PLEASE make sure your bid is in the proper amount before placing!
